Terms of Service

By creating an account or using ZenZ IAS™ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and ZenZ IAS ("we", "us").

ZenZ IAS is an online UPSC exam preparation platform providing structured study notes, AI-powered learning tools, a spaced repetition revision queue, an exam planner, and a behavioural analytics dashboard. Access is provided at zenzias.com.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ZenZ IAS. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. UPSC eligibility age requirements are set by the Union Public Service Commission and are separate from our platform requirements.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You must notify us immediately at contact@zenzias.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• One account per person — multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted

ZenZ IAS operates on a one-time payment model. Upon successful payment, you receive access to the content tier you purchased for the duration specified at the time of purchase.

• Founding Members (first 500 purchases) — access for 2 years from the date of purchase
• Standard purchases (after the first 500) — access for 2 years from the date of purchase
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay
• There are no recurring charges or auto-renewals
• Access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation

All payments on ZenZ IAS are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds, partial refunds, or credits will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, inability to use the platform, or failure to clear UPSC examinations.

We strongly encourage you to review all available free content and platform features before making a purchase. If you have questions about what is included in a plan, contact us at contact@zenzias.com before completing your payment.

In the event of a technical failure directly attributable to ZenZ IAS that prevents access to paid content for an extended period, we reserve the right to extend your access duration as appropriate compensation, at our sole discretion.

ZenZ IAS and all of its components are the exclusive intellectual property of ZenZ IAS, protected under applicable copyright, trade secret, and intellectual property laws of India.

Our intellectual property includes, without limitation:

• Study content — all structured study notes, chapter frameworks, topic hierarchies, syllabus mapping, AI-generated summaries, Mains scaffolds, Prelims drills, mnemonics, and editorial commentary
• Platform features — God Mode focus environment, spaced repetition revision queue and its scheduling algorithm, exam planner and scenario engine, behavioral analytics dashboard, AI mentor report system, subject classification framework, and confidence metre
• Application architecture — the design, structure, logic, and implementation of every feature, screen, workflow, and interaction within the ZenZ IAS platform, including how features are composed, connected, and presented to users
• Design and interface — the visual design system, UI components, layout patterns, typography, color system, animations, and the overall user experience
• Data systems — the syllabus taxonomy, chapter-to-exam mapping methodology, study time framework, insight generation logic, and all proprietary data structures
• Brand and identity — the ZenZ IAS™ name, logo, taglines, and all associated brand assets. ZenZ IAS™ is a trademark of the operator of this platform; a trademark application is pending before the Trade Marks Registry, Government of India. All rights are reserved.

You may:

• Access and read content for your personal UPSC preparation
• Create personal notes within the platform
• Export your own notes for personal use

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any ZenZ IAS content or features in any form
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or logic of any part of the platform
• Replicate or imitate any ZenZ IAS feature, design pattern, or architectural approach in any product
• Share your account credentials or purchased content with others
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content or data from the platform
• Use any part of ZenZ IAS — its content, features, design, or methodology — to build or improve a competing product
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices on the platform

Any unauthorised use of ZenZ IAS's intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and may expose you to civil and criminal liability under applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
• Interfere with the Service's performance or security
• Upload malicious code or attempt to exploit the platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

ZenZ IAS makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of study content. However, the UPSC syllabus, current affairs, and factual information change over time. We do not guarantee that all content is current, complete, or error-free.

Content labelled [Verify] in the study notes indicates information that should be cross-checked against official sources. ZenZ IAS is a preparation aid — always verify critical facts from authoritative government sources.

The AI simplification and Mains rewriting features are powered by a third-party AI model provider (OpenAI). AI-generated content:

• May occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
• Should be used as a study aid, not as a definitive source
• Is not a substitute for reading primary source material

ZenZ IAS is a preparation tool. We make no guarantee that use of our platform will result in clearing UPSC examinations. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZenZ IAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or exam performance outcomes.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific content tier to which the claim relates.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ZenZ IAS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at contact@zenzias.com to resolve the matter informally.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
